Monday.com Review

Highly visual, highly customisable work OS.

★★★★4/5

Pros

  • Extremely customisable boards, columns and dashboards
  • Strong automation recipes without code
  • Doubles as light CRM/ops tooling — one tool, many teams
  • Attractive, motivating UI drives adoption

Cons

  • Scheduling depth is limited: dependencies basic, no CPM/baselines
  • Pricing tiers gate features aggressively; costs grow fast
  • Board sprawl without governance
  • Per-item structure strains on very large projects

Our review

Monday’s bet is that most “project management” is really structured team workflow — and for many buyers that is true. Its board/automation model handles pipelines, requests and campaigns brilliantly, and dashboards make status visible without asking anyone to write a report. But if your work has real dependency networks, resource costs or contract dates, you will outgrow it. Evaluate against your three most complex workflows before committing.

Verdict

A great “work OS” for SMBs and ops-heavy teams consolidating tools. As a project scheduling platform it is the shallowest of the majors — know what you are buying.
